General meetings, which are held on the first Wednesday of the month, (except July and August) include a silent auction, a short general meeting, and a technical presentation by one of our members. Coffee and doughnuts are served!
SPRING STAMP SHOW and CALTAPEX are held at the Kerby Centre, in the Main Floor Auditorium, 1133 - 7th Avenue, S. W.. Details can be obtained from Janice Brookes at (403)251-1769.
The SUNDAY BOURSE is held the first Sunday of the month, at the Palliser Community Centre, 2323 Palliser Drive, S. W., from 10 AM to 4 PM. For details about the show, and for information on table rentals call Bill Szaroz at (403)337-3260.
The CALGARY REGIONAL GROUP of the BRITISH NORTH AMERICA PHILATELIC SOCIETY (BNAPS) meets the second Wednesday of the month. For details about meeting time and place, contact Ed Harris at (403)274-0021.

CHRISTMAS SOCIAL
The ANNUAL CHRISTMAS SOCIAL is held on the first Wednesday of December at the Kerby Centre, in the Main Floor Auditorium, 1133 - 7th Avenue, S. W.
The December meeting will be in the Kerby Centre dining room downstairs. All paid-up CPS members are invited to attend and bring a guest. There will be two parts to the Social: the dinner, and everything else.
If you are coming to the dinner, please arrive around 18h00 for the serving at 18h30. The cost is $10 per person at the door and there will be a cash bar. for the first time, CPS members will be invited to bring one bottle of table wine to drink with dinner and if you choose, share with your table mates. As all the people who attend on us are volunteers, we will pass the hat near the end of the evening to collect a tip for them.
If you are coming only fore everything else, please plan to arrive around 19h30. The bar will be open until 20h00. The meeting will commence at 20h00 and will consist of member presentations, Life Members' Award presentations, announcements, abused cover competition results, and the quiz.
